ive added about 3 lines of code to turn audio.rb into a video library. nginx didnt really help with the chunk seeking, so i recommend curl http://localhost/video??=v > v.html or messing with one of those extensions or security hacks that lets you include file:/// URIs

of course i'm going to delete these files without watching them, just seeing if an arbitrary sample of stuff off the internet was playable..

it turns out that Midori and Surf do fine, as their WebKit is stock, and uses the stock gstreamer, which uses the stock ffmpeg, which can play anything. Google Chrome on the other hand doesnt seem to play anything. maybe i need a WebM file or something. Firefox and the iPad are the typical lost cause too..
